Last week (May 20-26) started the second year for LVFW (Las Vegas Fashion Week) in Las Vegas. Like last year I had the opportunity to work with the Director and Owner of LVFW, Jenn Strom. This years Fashion Week turned out to be somewhat "sweet and sour," actually a little more sour then expected for my taste. The models were gorgeous as always and the designer showcased their best looks for Fall 13, and everything seemed good expect for the fact that the fashion industry in Vegas did not show up. I would have hoped that the RSVP guest were just stuck in traffic...that would make sense if this was LA, but in Vegas? Where were all the Buyers and Local Boutiques? I guess since fashion in Las Vegas is in the beginning stages of becoming popular among the residents, we should expect a low turn out. Oh Well, til next year!
Overall the Las Vegas Fashion Week was successful and I was glad to see all the amazing collections by designers like REyna Herrera, Siniva McCoy, Noelle Nicole, Shronne Taylor, and Dayana Rueda.
